Dear Luna,

you know there has never been a more devout fan of Wonderbolts than me, right? I'd never dream of diminishing what they did for Equestria. They always were, are, and will be the heroes.
However, your task for me was to build a new offensive aerial unit.
I chose to name them Shadowbolts, partially in homage to you and partially because Rarity tells me it will play up nicely on the Zebras' superstitiousness when it comes to Nightmare Moon.
We'll need every edge we can get to achieve victory.
